Baja

The Baja is a simple unit which creates a safe, dry, heated air flow for the easy removal of ALL moisture from your hearing instruments.

Operation Instructions

Location of system

Can be any handy place - avoid air drafts and sun as this may affect the performance of the system.

Power Connection

Plug 12VFDC jack into machine first and then plug power supply into 110 volt AC receptacle. Red indicator light (in hearing aid pad) tells you system is warming one hour to Activation.

Prepare Instruments

Wipe the hearing aids with a soft tissue and inspect te sound openin in canal for wax and debris.

Baja Operating Tips

Enhancer

If your hearing aids are other than custom in the ear type, you may wish to purchase as Enhancer accessory to simplify use of the Baja. Simply place the Enhancer over top of the Baja, covering the hearing aids. In this configuration, the Baja will remove all moisture from the instruments regardless of the position of the hearing aids on the Baja.

How to test the Baja

When plugged in, the red light will show in the hearing aid pad and the Baja will begin to warm. The temperature of the Baja is only a few degrees above the room temperature so you have to hold your hand over the top of the Baja for a few minutes to sense the warmth.

You should leave your hearing aids in the Baja whenever you are not wearing them. Your hearing aids can NOT be harmed by the Baja.
